Looking to promote Shoppers Stop’s Annual Sale, Blink gave it a secretive edge with ‘hidden discounts’ in the form of augmented reality. In partnership with Contract Advertising, the concept took shape as a newspaper ad that users could scan to reveal the secret sale! All they had to do was download the app from the Android or Apple store, then using their phone cameras, scan and reveal the sale products. Products virtually unfolded as a clothes rack, so items could literally be browsed and flipped through! Users could even double click and zoom into a product image, then share it with friends on Facebook.
